The Lone Survivor - Kitten with tragic past finally finds her forever home!
This sweet little girl is Cibby. She had a very tragic beginning to life. Her mama, along with 3 other pregnant mama cats where dumped out in the country to fend for themselves. All of Cibby's littermates were killed by cars, predators, starvation and flea infestation. When Cibby became the only surviving kitten her mama abandoned her to find food for herself leaving Cibby all alone. Her mama never returned for her. We were alerted to this situation and found Cibby scared, lost and crying loudly for her mother on a mound of gravel by a barn. Cibby was just 5 week old and a rack of bones infested with fleas. Had help not come just in the nick of time, Cibby would have suffered the same fate as her litter mates. (we have spared you some of the gruesome details) She is now clean and healthy with a strong will to live. She is still a little timid which is understandable considering what she has gone through but she is very loving with a strong purr and determination to befriend every animal she meets.
The incredible transformation of Nahla, now with an even happier ending
Nahla is loving life with her furrever family!
This is Nahla, one of the first kittens rescued from the Junk Yard Colony. The photo on the top left was taken the first day Life 9 Rescue was notified for help. The photo on the bottom left was taken two days later once Tasha was able to rescue Nahla and the photo above shows her incredible transformation over the last few weeks in her loving foster home. Cats like Nahla are the ones that would be rejected by our local shelters for not being healthy or friendly enough. Cats like Nahla would be deemed "unadoptable" and likely euthanized but we see their potential and give them the chance they deserve to thrive.
Life 9 Rescue gives them that second chance and look at Nahla now!
Stan The Man - Rescued from the Junk Yard Colony
Now enjoying the finer things in life in his new forever home!
Meet Stan! This mature, laid back lover boy was recently rescued from the Junk Yard Colony. He was previously a pet who had been abandoned on the property. Stan has a wonderful personality. He is confident with out being dominate, he is very loving and affectionate with out being overbearing and is wonderful with other cats. He is a large boy but does not try to dominate others. He is very calm and peaceful and other animals seem to be drawn to him by his sweet and gentle energy. Stan enjoys being held and carried around, if you let him he will even climb on to your shoulders.
UPDATE: STAN HAS FOUND HIS FOREVER HOME
He will finally have the life he deserves. Yay Stan!
